At Queeraeth, we believe in the power of storytelling backed by action. Our campaigns spotlight the structural inequalities faced by LGBTQ+ people across Wales and the UK and push for meaningful change.
Through creative advocacy, research, and collaboration, we’re building pressure for systems that serve all of us with fairness, dignity, and care.
From public health to housing, from classrooms to data systems, our campaigns are rooted in lived experience and driven by community voice.

Pride With Purpose
This June, during Pride Month, we are asking people across Wales to contact their newly elected Members of the Senedd and ask a simple question: How will you stand up for LGBTQ+ people over the next five years ; and how will you push the new Welsh Government to be bolder than the last?
Pride is not only a celebration. It is also a moment to reflect on what still needs to change.
While Wales has made progress, too many LGBTQ+ people still face barriers to healthcare, housing, safety, and belonging. Experiences vary across the country, and many voices remain unheard in national decision-making. Too many people still do not feel a true sense of belonging; especially in rural communities, later life, or during times of crisis
We believe the next Welsh Government must be bolder than the last — delivering real action on LGBTQ+ equality and ensuring communities across Wales help shape the future.
Our campaign is calling for action in three key areas:
- Better access to affirming healthcare and mental health support
- Action on LGBTQ+ homelessness and housing insecurity
- Creating environments where LGBTQ+ people feel a genuine sense of belonging throughout life
We are also calling for policymaking that reflects the full diversity of LGBTQ+ communities in Wales; including rural voices, trans and non-binary people, disabled LGBTQ+ people, LGBTQ+ people of colour, older people, and young people.
This Pride Month, send a message to your MS and ask them to stand up for a fairer, more inclusive Wales.
